Videos

I loved being a part of Jack and Laura’s wedding day this September. This video shows my special tribute performance of ‘Beautiful Day’ by U2 for Laura’s late father.

My quartet at school performed this infamous and powerful quartet by Dmitri Shostakovich recently, in the Lawrence Memorial Chapel. One of my favorite pieces of all time.

This was a personal recording project I undertook during the winter, performing a fantastic work by Astor Piazzolla: Le Grand Tango, arranged for violin. Truly a showstopper, I especially love the ending!

My junior recital at Lawrence from May of 2023! I loved playing Tartini’s “Devil’s Trill” sonata, as well as a super fun new solo piece by Francine Trester.

This was a super cool and unique performance opportunity with fellow student Tori Schneider at Lawrence for her dance recital! The piece I played was written by Eli Orion, but was also improvised along with the movement. If the video doesn’t automatically start at the performance, skip to 17:29.

An incredible opportunity to travel with my friends and performers in the ELM trio. Formed by myself (Ellie), Lucian/Lorcan Baxter, and Matthew DeChant in 2022, we are all composers for the group with a focus on experimentation and improvisation. This piece was written by Lucian, titled ‘Dwellings and Belongings’, which was accepted as a featured performance at the annual festival, New Music Gathering, taking place in Portland, OR, 2023.
